    Can you imagine "A Dahi Bada without oil"


    1.250 grams- Udad dal(white)
    2.1 tea spoon -green chilly(fine chopped)
    3. 1 tea spoon-ginger(grated)
    4. 3/4 tea spoon-eno
    5. salt (according to taste)
    6. some Raisin & cashewnuts
    7. For garnishing -thin curd, imli chatni and coriander chatni.


    1. wash & soak dal for 3-4 hours and then drain exess water. 2.Make thick paste of dal with the help of grinder,add salt and beat it well tilli itbecomes light. 3. Take a idli maker and greased every tray of it with 1-2 drops of oil. 4.take 4-5 table spoon of paste of dal in another bowl and add 1/2 tea spoon of Eno in it mix it well. 5. put some chilly,ginger, 1-2 raisin & a pcs of ceshewnut at the bottom and then put dal .now put very little water in the idli makeradjust every tray which is already ready.Cover it properly and steam it for 5-7 minutes. 6. Now open the idli maker and let it become cool . take out the badas with the help of knife and put all the badas in normal water. 7. When you have to serve the Dahi bada take out them from water keep them in a serving dish put some curd and garnish with imli chatni,coriander chatni.salt,red chilly powder,roasted cumin powder and coriander leaves.
