    My all time favourite.. Very easy to make.


    1 cup rava / sooji
    1/4 cup onions diced
    1/4 cup tomatoes diced
    1/4 cup green and red capsicum diced
    1 tablespoon chopped coriander
    3-4 tablespoons curd
    1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
    6 slices bread (any type is fine)


    Mix the rava, vegetables, curd, chili powder and salt. Add water to make a thick batter. Taste and adjust the salt and spice. Spread on one side of the bread. In a non stick flat pan , put a few drops of oil. Put the bread, rava side down, on the pan. Cook on medium heat. Press down slightly with a spatula to cook the rava evenly. If the rava side slides easily when the pan is shaken, it is cooked. When cooked, flip the bread and crisp the other side. You do not need to put oil on this side. Remove from pan and serve hot with green coriander chutney or ketchup.
