It is a mouth watering dish which is hot n spicy. It tastes well with Hot Paranthas.

    1 cup gram flour (Besan)
    50 gram paneer (Cottage Cheese)
    ½ cup curd
½ tea spoon (tsp) thyme (ajwain)
    ½ tsp salt
    1 tsp garlic ginger paste
    A pinch of heeng
    1 tsp oil

    For the gravy
    1 onion
    1 tomato
    ½ cup curd
    1 green chilli
    ½ tsp chilli powder
    ¼ tsp turmeric powder
    ½ tsp salt
    1 tsp oil
    Some coriander leaves

Mix the gram flour, thyme, ginger garlic paste, salt, hing, oil and knead in to a soft dough by adding curd. Roll out chapati about 1cm thick with this dough, grate paneer and spread over the chapatti, roll up the chapatti in to a long roll. Cut 2-5 cm lengths from the big roll, seal the edges and now gutteys are ready.
Boil the water. Put the guttey in the water, boil until they start floating, remove it from the water, but do not throw away the water away. Grind the onion, tomato, green chilli and curd to a fine paste. Heat the oil and fry the paste till it leaves the sides of the pan. Add salt and other masalas and the water in which the gutteys were boiled. Once it boils, put in the gatteys, cover and allow it to simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Serve it hot with paranthas.
