    Mushroom pasta is one of those things I’ve attempted a couple of times but always want to make something quick and simple. Finally i tried this and the mushrooms were bursting with flavour and the earthiness perfectly complimented the sweet, red onion. It was a perfect autumnal dish and I’m really glad to have at last found a good and simple mushroom pasta recipe.


    2 tsp olive oil
    1/2 tsp chilli flakes
    3 Cloves garlic
    2 Medium chopped onions
    250 gms mushrooms chopped
    2 Tsp black olives
    2 Tsp Roasted Pinenuts
    1 Cup cream
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    2 cups long pasta
    Fresh parsely and coriander leaf for garnish
    Salt and pepper


    Boil pasta and keep aside.
    Put olive oil in a pan add chill flakes garlic, onions, olives add mushrooms cook it for sometime or till mushrooms cooked.
    Add cream, cheese and roasted pine nuts give it boil. Add salt n pepper according to taste.
    Put boiled pasta and mix it well. Cook it for 2 mins.
    Add finely chopped parsely and coriander leaves.
    To make spicy add green chilli.
