    A favorite for cocktail parties !!


    Preparation time: 20 mins
    Cooking time: 50 mins.
    Quantity: 40 small horns(approx)
    For the Horns:
    2 tea cup self raising flour.
    4 table spoon hot butter.
    1/2 tea spoon salt.
    Oil for frying

    For the potato stuffings:
    4 boiled potatoes
    Green chillies as per taste
    3 tea spoon dried mango powder
    1 table spoon finely chopped corianders
    1 tea spoon cumin seeds
    2 finely chopped onions
    2 table spoon butter


    1. Sieve the self raising flour and add melted butter and salt. Mix properly.Add water to make a dough.
    2. Divide the dough into 4 or 3 parts and flat it out into a thin base using a rolling pin.
    3. Cut it into 12 mm(1/2 inch) strips.
    4. Add a little water on top of the strips.
    5. Roll the strips around a tin cone so that it resembles the shape of a horn. Only cover one side and leave one side open for the stuffing.
    6. Drop the horns into a deep frying pan which is filled with hot oil. After two minutes separate the molds from the tin cones and cook for another two minutes.
    7. Keep it in an air tight container

    Preparation for potato stuffing:
    1. Cut the potato into small dices.
    2. Melt the butter in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
    3. Add the chopped green chillies and fry
    4. Add all the other ingredients and mix properly.

    For serving:
    Stuff the hot stuffing into the cones. Now relish with tamarind chutney or tomato ketchup.
