    Like most beans, black-eyed beans are rich in the best sort of fiber. which helps to eliminate cholesterol from the body. As a high-potassium, low-sodium food they help reduce blood pressure, they are low in fat. Tried something interesting out of these beans.


    Ingredients

    2 cups black eyed beans
    2 Green chillies
    4 cloves garlic
    1 small piece ginger
    1/2 tsp hing
    1/2 tsp ajwin
    1/2 tspred cilli podwer or acc to taste
    1 medium onion
    1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
    Salt acc to taste
    Oil for shallow fry

    Directions

    Soak black eye beans in 5 cups of water for about 4-5 hour. Drain and grind with ginger, garlic, green chillies and salt to a smooth batter. Add red chilli power,onions, hing, ajwin, coriander leaves and mix well. Heat a tawa (pan) and grease it. Spread a ladle full of batter to a thin disc. Drizzle a little oil and cook on medium heat till the underside is done. Carefully flip over, drizzle a little oil and cook till the other side is done too. Fold the chilla over to a half moon shape. Serve hot with green chutney. If u want u can add grated carrot and zuccini also. Its good for kids.
